Advanced sEMG, Thermal and HRV Course

Advanced Interpretation and Communication of sEMG, Thermal and HRV Scanning in Practice

Introduction:

This three week telecourse offers doctors an advanced perspective on the interpretation and reporting of sEMG, thermal scanning and Heart Rate Variability in a subluxation centered office.  By utilizing these powerful technologies, the doctor, staff members and patients will reposition their focus toward wellness rather than limiting chiropractic to back or neck pain. The doctors will achieve a new level of certainty when recommending care plans and inspiring their team to become a chiropractic center of excellence.

Hour 1:    Interpretation and Reporting of the sEMG

  • Technology in a chiropractic office…diagnostic or analytic?
  • Positioning chiropractic in the community…3 styles of practice
  • Structural tone and functional tone and tensegrity models
  • Nerve-Muscle-Bone triad and the active-passive-control mechanisms
  • sEMG and its relation to dyskinesia and dysponesis
  • sEMG as a valid and defensible tool in subluxation-based chiropractic care
  • Subluxation defined…”The Subluxation Syndrome”
  • Cylinder dynamics… understanding and reporting the asymmetry graphic
  • Reporting essentials of the sEMG in subluxation terms
  • Pattern analysis, symmetry and neural efficiency

Hour 2:    Interpretation and Reporting of Thermal Scanning and an introduction to Heart Rate Variability

  • Review of scientific literature relating to dysautonomia and chiropractic
  • Overview of the Autonomic Nervous System(ANS)
  • Vasoconstriction/dilation as it relates to neural tone
  • Interpretation and quantification  of a thermal scan
  • Reporting the thermal scan during the ROF
  • Reporting thermal scan results at progress exams
  • Case studies using thermal scanning
  • Introduction to dysautonomia and HRV
  • HRV, adaptability and the Morbidity Shift

Hour 3:    Interpretation and Reporting of the sEMG /Thermal scans/HRV

  • Review of Interpretation of the technologies and reporting language.
  • Developing care plans using the revolutionary Path to Wellness©.
  • Quantification of changes …graphic representation.
  • Introduction to the physiology of  three-vector stressors.
  • Case studies using sEMG.
  • Enrolling the patient into a wellness lifestyle using the Big 3 scans.
  • Using sEMG and Thermal scans to educate the community.
  • The marketing magic of using chiropractic technologies in the community.
  • Language that moves people to choose chiropractic.

Course Objectives:

  • Following this course the learner will have developed a new level of certainty in analyzing neural scans for patterns of subluxation.
  • The learner will be inspired to train the office staff to participate in scanning and to communicate the values and benefits of neural scanning to patients.
  • The doctor will have a new confidence in communicating the value of wellness chiropractic care associated with the higher degree of certainty in interpreting scans.
  • Following this course, the learner will build a terrific practice based upon the new found certainty in the effects of subluxation and the power of chiropractic.
